India (operations across multiple districts and villages, primarily in Gujarat)
About Radant Sensors
Radant Sensors LLP is an agritech organization focused on delivering affordable, real-time soil intelligence to farmers through its AI-powered soil sensing solution, SoilX. Designed and engineered in India by scientists, agronomists, and data experts, Radant Sensors enables farmers to make data-driven decisions that improve crop productivity, optimize input usage, and promote sustainable farming practices.
Their operations span direct farmer engagements, Agro-Shop-driven testing, field agents, and special free-testing initiatives—requiring a scalable, automated backend capable of handling high-volume transactions, compliance, and real-time reporting.
Radant Sensors required a robust backend system to support large-scale soil testing operations involving farmers, Agro-Shops, and field agents. Prior to implementation, there was no centralized platform for collecting payments, generating invoices, managing commissions and royalties, or distributing soil test reports in a structured manner.
Aurnex designed and implemented an end-to-end automated solution using Zoho Forms, Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, and WhatsApp integration, tightly integrated with the soil testing machine and reporting workflow. The solution enabled real-time payment collection, automated invoicing, royalty and commission management, AI-driven soil report generation, and connected communication with farmers—transforming Radant’s operations into a scalable, compliant, and fully automated ecosystem.
Challenges faced by Radant Sensors
The client encountered several challenges:
No centralized system to collect payments from farmers
Absence of a digital payment gateway for on-spot soil testing
Manual and error-prone invoice generation
No mechanism to manage Agro Shop prepaid credits
Difficulty handling free soil testing campaigns with audit tracking
No automated commission calculation for agents and Agro Shops
No structured royalty tracking for soil testing machines
Soil test results generated via machine email without processing or formatting
No automated PDF report generation or WhatsApp delivery
Lack of a farmer database for future engagement and marketing
The requirement in context
Radant Sensors required a unified backend solution to manage payment collection, invoicing, soil testing workflows, commission and royalty accounting, and report delivery, while supporting multiple operational models and handling thousands of tests per day. The system needed to be mobile-friendly, GST-compliant, scalable, and fully automated.

How the requirements were addressed
Zoho FormsZoho Forms was implemented as the primary data collection layer to onboard farmers, agents, and AgroShop-led testing activities. Separate forms were designed for on-spot paid soil testing, AgroShop prepaid credit-based testing, and free soil testing campaigns. Each form captured farmer details, contact information, and test metadata, triggering downstream automation.
Zoho BooksZoho Books was implemented as the core financial system to automatically generate invoices at the time of soil testing, handle UPI-based payment collection and auto-posting, maintain a single Accounts Receivable ledger using unique Test IDs/mobile numbers instead of individual farmer ledgers, ensure GST and TDS compliance, track royalty liabilities for soil testing machines, and calculate and record commissions payable to agents and AgroShops.
Payment Gateway IntegrationPayment Gateway Integration enabled real-time payment collection for on-spot testing, while a credit-based system was implemented for AgroShops purchasing soil tests in bulk. Credit consumption was tracked automatically, with validations for exhausted balances.
Soil Testing Machine IntegrationAutomated emails generated by the testing device containing more than 20 soil parameters were captured. These values were processed, validated against minimum and maximum thresholds, and highlighted where required.
Automated PDF Report GenerationProcessed soil data was converted into a white-labeled, farmer-friendly PDF report, clearly indicating soil health indicators and critical values. Reports are saved in WorkDrive.
WhatsApp IntegrationWhatsApp Integration ensured instant delivery of soil test reports, invoices, and e-receipts (EMO) to farmers and relevant stakeholders.
Zoho CRMZoho CRM was used to maintain a structured database of farmers, agents, and AgroShops, enabling operational tracking and future marketing initiatives.
Operational Scenarios CoveredCase 1 – On-Spot Paid Soil Testing; Case 2 – AgroShop Prepaid Credit Testing; Case 3 – Free Soil Testing Campaigns.
